I see in your comments field you primarily deal with NY and Conn. I have a question and was wondering if you can provide assistance and guidance with it. I live in NYC in July 2001 I was taken to court for 3 kids born out of wedlock. I know that one child is mine but since the mother wa son welfare I was taken to court by the state. The statte ordered a paternity test for all three kids and the results came back with the numbers like 18,964 to 1 chance that I am the father. I know I am not the father to these kids. My question is how do I go about terminating my parental rights to these children in the state of New york. I have no affliation to them and I don't understand why if the mother acknowledge that these children are not mine why then did the court system not have other possibilities test.
