I'm am doing my own divorce. I filed the first step --
the 3 papers and got the list of sheriffs.
I just discovered it would be better if I didn't serve
my dh until two more weeks (which is less than the
12 mandatory days).
Am I able to go back to court to request to change
the return date?
I'm assuming my case management date would need to be
changed as well since the '90 days' would change.
Also, do they charge for this?
