: I have been living with a married man for 15 yrs. now. Asking him for years to get a divorce. He finally began to do this,but stopped in his tracks, giving me the excuse he needed 12 consecutive paychecks ,which he didn't have "supposedly" at the time.Now a paycheck comes in the mail here ,weekly.I'm sure a stub is included..if it was really ever needed. He told me i'd be able to claim commonlaw rights,now. I don't believe this to be true . I'm older now and sick and he's planning on moving, with or without me.Do i have any commonlaw rights, even though he hasn't seen his wife in 15 years?
